I absolutely love coffee. My day is missing something when it’s not there. I like to pretend I can go a day without coffee, but really, I just love everything about it.
I started saving the grounds since I see so many pins on Pinterest about how useful they can be.
This scrub is a simple recipe that’s easy to make and easy to gift. Just put them into cute little jars with simple instructions on how to use them.
The caffeine in the coffee, when used as a scrub, helps to stimulate and constrict blood vessels which means your skin will look tighter. The Epsom Salt
helps to flush out toxins and calm inflammation. And plus, who doesn’t like the smell of coffee? I swear, this scrub makes me feel like I just went to the spa. Something about the smell of coffee and the luxury of a scrub puts me at ease.
- 1/4 cup used coffee grounds
- 3/4 cup Epsom Salt
- 1/4 cup Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil (but any oil will do!)
Mix all ingredients together. Store in an airtight jar. Use in the shower for super soft, exfoliated skin.
