This shawl is part of a KAL hosted by Gary who is raising money for AIDS/Lifecycle benefitting the HIV/AIDS services of San Francisco AIDS Foundation and Los Angeles LGBT Center. The Projector shawl is an asymmetrical shawl shape. It has garter stitch with garter stripes that play with lace that is worked in a contrasting color. The result is a visually fun knit that is as much fun to make as it is to wear.
PATTERN INFORMATION:
- Asymmetrical shawl shape
- Lace and garter stripes are interspersed throughout the shawl
- Beautiful lace design is worked throughout the shawl.
Materials:
- US 8 (5 mm) in 36”/90cm or length preferred.
Notions:
- 1 - Stitch marker
- Darning needle
Finished size: 20” at widest depth x 80” at longest length
Gauge: 36 sts x 40 rows = 4”/10cm with US 8 (5 mm) in garter stitch, blocked
Note: Gauge is not crucial when making this shawl however it will affect the yardage required.
